Writing from Life
Intermediate poetry course
The most powerful poetry can come from writing 'what you know.' But
how does a poet choose which parts of their life to draw on? How do we
transform that raw material into art? And what are the dangers of
autobiographical poetry? During this five-week course we will explore
writing from life, using poetic forms to give shape to your memories
and experiences. This five-week poetry course is aimed at people who
are already reading and writing poetry. It will explore writing from
life experiences.
